Breathing in the Autumn Oslo Air

Running in my sweater… not a common attire for jogging in Singapore. But that’s what I did at 8am today in Norway. It was a perfect scenery for a morning jog. Yellow orangy maple tree leaves covering the path beside the river. Sub-zero temperature from last night provide the white icing that is covering the green fields. As I breathe in the fresh, crisp morning air, can’t help but feeling a outta body experience. A very surreal experience. That’s the feeling I got everytime I’m overseas. The world news doesn’t matter to me anymore. Life still goes on in the other part of the world while i’m happily in Wonderland.

haha.. ok.. some thoughts that I got while i’m jogging today. ANyway, it’s 3+pm over in Norway now.. and 9+pm in Singapore.. i’m now sitting outside, the sun has gone over the building now, and i think i might start to feel bit cold soon… my fembot is emitting way too much heat that I would like, but it’s a blessing now as it’s warming up my lap! haha…

Anyway, the trip so far was great.. not doing much really, just chilling at home.. went for walks with M… catching up on stuff, just spending time together. It’s super nice to see M again…!

Alright.. just tot i will write something in my blog.. well this time round, i won’t be blogging what i’m doing every single day like my previous trip. This is more like a retreat holiday.. not a touristy holiday.

Think I am going to snuggle back to the couch and watch some very legal download movies…………. NOT! *heee*

Listen

It’s been a while since I listen to my ipod again, ever since i started the new job… the time spent during train ride is like a rat race… always catching the empty spot right at the door and wishing that I will be on time. IN the midst of these, I didn’t use my ipod, which I did everyday to/from work.

And when i get to listen again, i feel good.. or rather, the music is soothing to the soul and it slows me down, calm my anxiety in the early peak hours and the end of the work day. And it helps transport me to another space, and to be able to think of you without any other work thoughts in it. And as a sucker for romance, i indulge in making every song our song. Happy, trusting, humorous love. I Likeeeeee!

I got 3 phone calls today… and all has been stressful. Damn… tomorrow might be hell in the meeting where i will most likely get a scolding… have to prepare for it and face it, hoping i won’t crumble under it. Arghhh… hate it hate it hate it… but gotta hang on… this thing will pass!!!

Being Someone

Watching the movie, Being John Malkovich. Have seen the movie previously, but i was much younger and I guess at that time, I couldn’t really get the story.

It was a great concept movie, and in a way, sad as well…when there are many people n the world who is having a dull life and wanted another better one, or is it?

Last day at Moxie… again

Well, this time is pretty much the end… gonna start my new job on Wednesday! wohoo!! looking forward to the challenges. which i think i will definitely get!! stay motivated I must… and hopefully the rewards are great

New things to come!

Much happenings this week! Been busy with the temp work and freelance stuff at home… but the major thing has to be the confirmation of my new job in Marketing!

Went for an interview with this local big company for the position of Marketing Executive on last friday , 18 May… and didn’t quite sure how the results will be.. As usual, waiting for the best out of it.. and on the following Wednesday, I got a call from the HR department in the company and was told I am being selected!! Wohoo!! It’s surprising and felt bit surreal for a moment.. thinking I actually got the job! I was feeling quite high about it for the rest of the day… Talked to a couple of people and most of them said the same thing “it’s tough in there, but a good place to learn, build up ur career portfolio”.. so i’ve decided to stick up to the challenge and confirmed the job on Friday and sign the appointment letter!! WOW!!! can’t believe it..!! Corporate organisation life, here i come!!

And yesterday was a rush on getting some new work clothes.. gotta do a major wardrobe overhaul… it was fun shopping for the clothes though. Just hope i dun dread the dressing up nicely for work too soon.

Then went for Stanley and Jessica’s wedding dinner…. it was pretty nice setting…. and cheeky stanley did a solo-on-guitar Richard Marx’s Now & forever song for his new wife who was tearing while he sang his heart and vocal cords away. Bravo stan! This moment will be very special for both of you. Happiness always!

Well, it’s work this sunday for me at home.. hopefully can get much things done before i start on my new job! can’t believe it!! eeeeeeeehaaaaaaa!!
